Nesta quinta-feira terá mais um Young Professional Metting. O YPM é uma iniciativa do Comitê Jovem da SPE Brasil de promover uma palestra técnica uma vez por mês. O tema da próxima palestra será sobre Brocas Hibridas, que será ministrado pelo Drilling Application Engineer da Baker Hughes Mr. Ian Tomson.
A Palestra será no dia 2 de junho as 16 horas na sede do IBP: Av. Alte. Barroso, 52 - 21 andar - Centro / RJ.

Ian holds a Mechanical Engineer degree with a Post Graduation in Petroleum Engineering. He has 8 years of experience in the oil industry and has been with Baker Hughes over the last 5 years, holding different positions in Brazil and US. He was a Drilling Application Engineer for GoM Deepwater Operations for three years and Application Engineer Project Manager for one year based in Houston. Now he is based in Brazil as a Senior Drilling Application Engineer. Mr. Thomson has a total of 8 SPE / OTC publications.
